Guadalupe Shelter Supply Drive

Join us in helping our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness in Weld County by making a contribution to this year’s Guadalupe Community Shelter “Non-Event Charity Ball”.  Your contribution will go directly to the services of the shelter where 80% of residents leave with stable income and housing.

Our ladies will be hosting a shelter supply drive, collecting items for the Guadalupe Shelter in the coffee bar until Sunday, November 11th.

We would love your help in providing the following items: warm clothing for men, women & children (boots, hats, gloves, and coats), blankets & sheets, toiletries, diapers & wipes, shoes, towels, dishes, and housewares items.  Any items donated can be gently used but should be in good condition.

Christine Chavez Fundraiser

As most of you know, Christine left this week to begin long-term missions work in Asia.  Christine is still in need of partners to come along side her and offer support on a monthly basis.  This is a great opportunity to advance the gospel in a culture that is unreached for Christ.

To help with this effort, the Fall River Mission Society is offering $3,000 to match your lump-sum donations through the end of November.  For those of you who are led to become new partners with Christine, we will also match your first three month’s support.

To donate and match your contributions, use Christine’s support link.  https://www.ywamcos.org/support?code=648

Once you have donated, YWAM will email a receipt for your records.  To match your donations, please send a copy of your receipt (you may mark out your name!) to Chris@FallRiverMission.org.  Please note on your receipt if you are a new monthly partner so we can triple your donation!

We have a goal of raising $10,000 for Christine.  We know that when God calls, He also provides.  Many hands make light work, so donations of any amount will help!  Thank you in advance for your prayers and support of Christine and the unreached in Asia.

Operation Christmas Child

Join as we collect donations to support Samaritan’s Purse’s annual Christmas Shoebox drive. We will be collecting shoeboxes through Sunday, November 11th.  There will be shoeboxes available in the lobby during the next two Sundays. You can always fill your own shoebox or container as well.  This year, the shipping will cost $9.00 per shoebox, and due to customs, they are requesting that no candy or toothpaste be included.

Samaritan’s Purse International Relief has been delivering Christmas Shoeboxes to children in need around the world for the past 25 years.  Each box is an opportunity for a boy or girl to experience the love of God in a tangible way and hear the Gospel. And, we love partnering with this amazing organization to bring his love to children at Christmas time, the season we celebrate God’s redemption of our lives through the birth of his son.

Memory Madness

Memory Madness Madsmashing Week 3 starts today! If you have not completed your mission, you can still come to the tablet to say your verses.  We have TWO weeks left! Keep working on those verses!

Please Continue to Pray

The McNerney’s would love continued prayer for John McNerney as he had open heart surgery on October 8th.  They would like prayers for a smooth recovery as well as prayers for the family to stay healthy and not get sick so that John has time to recover.
