Everett’s Send-Off Party- Saturday,  November 30th

James & Ali Everett (with their 2 boys Henry & Ellis) will be moving oversees to spread the good news of our King in South Asia! They will be living in a city of 18 million people, of whom, less than 1% are followers of the Way.  There are many ways you can partner with them as they go, and they would love to talk to you more about those! They leave December 3rd, and have committed to be gone for at least 3 years.  They ask that their family at Summitview remember them and lift them up to the Father often that He might become famous in South Asia!

We will have a Send-Off party on Saturday, November 30th from 2-5pm.  We would love people to drop in and say goodbye so we can give them all a hug one last time before they leave!

November is Homelessness Awareness Month

There are SO many ways we can help during the holiday season as well as all year round to local individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our Greeley/Evans area.
We have really enjoyed teaming together this month to help in tackling homelessness in our area! The Youth Groupers collected food for people in need, Dusty is still collecting items for the Baird Survival Bags (see back side of bulletin for details) and we have been collecting all month, as well as at Women’s Night, for the Guadalupe Community Center’s “Non-Event Charity Ball”.  If you still with to give, as this is our last Sunday to collect donations, please put your donation in the jar by the tithe box. You can also purchase Lula Roe clothing (donated by Tricia Yohana).  100% of the purchases will go to the Guadalupe Community Center.  Tricia is only asking a minimum donation of $3 for leggings, $5 for shirts, and $7 for dresses and wraps.
And, thank you to everyone who has already generously given! Contact Rebecca Andrews if you are interested in more information.

Decorating for Christmas- Saturday, December 7th

We’ll guide you every step of the way!  We will be working on Saturday, December 7th from 9-11:30am. Please talk to Rebecca Andrews if you have any questions (970-391-9101).

Please Pray

Joni Hicks is asking for prayer for her stepdad of 31 years, Ron, who is hospitalized with kidney failure. They are taking him off of dialysis and he is very sick. Joni’s mom, Teri, is a strong believer but is struggling and would love prayer. Ron has visited our church in the past and loved it. He said everyone was very loving and it impacted his life. Joni has also been sick with a bad cold and has a lot going on at work this week. Please pray for Joni & her husband Dan and their daughters Krisha and Kayleigh as well. So far, no meals are needed- just prayers. Thank you!

Join Dusty Kraft with ‘Baird Survival Bags’

The Baird Survival Bag was kick started in November 2016 to help out a homeless man named Terry; a 35 year old man who stood by the entrance of a 7-11 during the coldest days of winter opening doors for customers asking if he could have a warm cup of coffee, always polite, with a big smile on his face.  Alan Baird, Dusty’s co-worker at Realty One Group, wanted to help him get back on his feet and onto the road to success.  That’s when the Baird Survival Bag was created.
Dusty will be collecting items to help those that are less fortunate and are living on the streets.  This year, Alan’s goal is to pass out 250 bags.  The best part is they are going to be giving away 30 bags up here in the Greeley area.
See the list of items you can donate by our tithe box  and see the  link to the GoFundMe page below if you’d rather give monetarily. Also, check out their Facebook page (link below) to learn more.
