Member’s Meeting- This Saturday

If you are a member of SVCC please join us for our Members Meeting this Saturday, February 3^rd at the building. The meeting will run from 6-8pm, so please bring your own dinner so that we can eat together while we discuss pertinent topics for 2018. Please make an effort to show up as close to 6pm as possible, and if you can come a little early to help set up tables and chairs that would be great!

Also, childcare will be provided.

Memory Madness

Memory Madness week 2 starts today! Don’t forget to go to the table to say your verse(s).

 Help Keep our Kids Healthy

We are right in the middle of cold/flu season and we want to make sure that our kids (and adults) stay as healthy as possible. That being said, let’s all be vigilant in keeping sick family members home and also out of Sunday School. If your child has had a fever or thrown up in the past 24 hours, please do not bring him/her to Sunday School. Also, if your baby/toddler has a cold (runny nose, cough), please keep them with you and out of the nursery/toddler room (these little ones tend to spread germs very easily).

Quick Reminder for all Sunday School Teachers

We so appreciate you serving our children! Just as a reminder, please be sure to be ready with materials and in your specific classroom no later than 9:25am on Sunday mornings. This is especially important for new families, as they entrust their children to your care. Thank you again for loving our kids in this way!

Honduras Missions Trip- June

We will be taking a team of people to serve on a short-term mission trip to Choluteca, Honduras June 16^th-24^th, 2018. If you are interested in joining this outreach, please contact Jason Hubbard (970-301-2981 or jdhub112@hotmail.com)

Faith Camp 2018 Retreat- July

Mark your calendars! The Faithcamp adventure will take place from July 27^th-31^st in Cedaredge, CO (just one hour SW of Grand Junction, CO). We have the beautiful Camp Cedaredge entirely to ourselves (see http://www.campcedaredge.com/). Faithcamp is designed to be a remarkable combination of three events: an All Church Camp Out, Discipleship Training Camp, and Faithwalkers. Faithcamp is designed for your whole family! We will be joined by several other churches in our Mountains West Region. More details to come!
