A Non-Denominational, Christian Church

INVESTING IN OTHERS

Small Groups

Acts 5:42: And every day, in the Temple and in their home Bible classes, they continued to teach and preach that Jesus is the Messiah.

For two thousand years, God's people have been gathering on Sundays and in homes throughout the week to connect, to study the Bible, and to pray together.  We are carrying on that same tradition.  Small groups meet in our homes. It's a great time to get to know people in a way that can't be done during a weekend service.  We currently have 7 small groups meeting in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Teenagers

Raising teens today can be difficult.  We know.  That is why we provide a weekly time for teenagers to come to our church building to develop positive friendships, be an encouragment to others, eat some food, play some games, and learn how to make God part of their daily life.

Each summer we encourage our teens to attend a "Discipleship Training Camp" at a college campus or retreat center here in the Front Range.  There they get to interact with teens from other churches, hear solid Biblical teaching, practice serving others in community outreach, and enjoy some competition in various sports and games.

Young Adults

For those in the working world or college, we provide an evening each week (every Thursday at our church builidng) to build deep friendships, discuss the hard questions of life, study the Bible, eat food, and chill.  This group, called "The Narrows" (named after a mountain pass on Long's Peak), does LOTS of other fun events like frisbee, movie nights, skiing, and challenging contests!

Community Outreach

We want to be a positive influence and good neighbor in our community.  One event last year was to provide a safe place for neighborhood children to enjoy some treats at Halloween!  It is fun to see all the costumes of the children... and even some of our adults showing up in constume!

This year, other planned events include an ice cream party, Vacation Bible School, and service projects.

Men's Breakfast

Men love to eat!  So, every month the men at Summitview meet at our building for some P.S.S.P:

Protein, Sweets, Study, and Prayer.  This year we have been studying a book on the foundations of godly manhood.

Missions

In Mattew 28:19-20, Jesus said, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.

And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

We regularly send short term mission teams to obey Jesus' command.  This year our church sent 37 adults, teens, and young adults to Belize for a week-long mission trip.  Past trips include: Zimbabwe, France, Cambodia, and Honduras.
